My career began with earning my Bachelors degree in Psychology at Marymount Manhattan College from which I graduated with honors. At that time I worked as a group therapist, helping clients heal through Gestalt therapy.
One day, by chance, I had the opportunity to observe one of my young clients in a speech therapy session. Watching that therapist change this child’s life, changed mine.
I immediately embarked on a Master of Science Degree in Speech Language Pathology from Columbia University. There I trained under various industry leaders who conducted groundbreaking research and authored the textbooks used in the curriculum.
From there, I spent three years at a public elementary school where my passion to help children grew stronger. For the next six years, I worked at a prestigious Park Avenue practice in New York City where I learned the importance of discretion while caring for clients privacy was crucial.
Today, from my private practice in Windermere, Florida, I serve children, adults, and families through speech and language therapy, applying Articulation Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Play Therapy, Oral Placement Therapy, and PROMPT Therapy, among others.
My commitment to my clients is to provide a path to improved communication that is both fun and effective.
